New temporary piece revealed
Kunst aan de Maas presented a new, temporary work of art by the Kuwaiti-Puerto Rican artist Alia Farid (1985) on Thursday 29 June.
In Lieu of What Was consists of five impressive fiberglass sculptures that will be placed along the canal, near Maasmechelen Village. The choice to show Alia Farid’s artwork at this location is no coincidence.
