Save Our Souls withstands washing water
What we were expecting a year earlier was there… The water in the Meuse River was high and reached the sand sculpture SAVE OUR SOULS. A flow of +- 1700 was required. However, the artwork managed to withstand and, for now, can still be admired opposite the church of Heppeneert. Residents continue to monitor the condition of the artwork.
Photographer Lieven Geuns went out and captured the images below of how the washing water reaches the artwork.
